Gabe Plotnikov
Psychotherapist Intern (He/Him)
Therapy can be a powerful tool for personal growth, healing, and self-discovery. As a psychotherapist graduate intern, I offer compassionate, client-centered care that supports you in exploring who you are, what you need, and how to move towards healing and wholeness. My counseling approach is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and trust as together we create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I provide therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodiverse clients, and those seeking support with anxiety, relationships, identity, and emotional wellbeing. I also work with people facing life transitions or navigating existential questions around meaning, purpose, and belonging.
Through my experience mentoring college students on the autism spectrum, I’ve developed a strong foundation in supporting neurodiverse individuals and embracing the strengths of neurodivergent identities. I understand how to create space that honors the sensory, social, and processing needs for each person. Your communication style, your unique pacing needs, and your individual way of processing the world will be met with genuine respect and insight.
For those who feel that their spirituality or faith life is an important piece to understanding their life’s story (whether active or inactive, positive or negative), I offer particular training and insight. My awareness of how belief systems impact mental health and identity first began with my undergraduate theological studies and today I am especially attuned to working with clients healing from religious trauma or experiencing a spiritual crisis.
Gabe is soon to complete a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kutztown University (2026). He leads several of our LGBTQ+ support groups, and you can meet with him at any of our locations.
